Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association Board of Directors
In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association (MCHA) Board of Directors is comprised of eleven individuals.
Six directors are selected by the health insurance industry, subject to approval by the Commerce of Commissioner. One of the industry members must be a health actuary.
Five public directors are selected by the Commerce of Commissioner, at least two of whom must be plan enrollees, two of whom are covered under an individual plan subject to paying MCHA assessments, or a group plan offered by an employer subject to paying MCHA assessments and one of whom must be a licensed insurance agent. At least two of the public directors must reside outside of the seven-county metropolitan area.
